Japanese artistAyumi Shibatahas a unique way of turning plain white paper into something truly magical.

The series is calledPoem of Lifeand it plays with light, space, and shadow.

For centuries, people have used it to express their thoughts, feelings, and dreams.

Shibata translated this idea in her own way for the exhibition.

Visitors were invited to wander through the room, taking in the details of each piece.

The exhibition happened in January 2025 at theIchihara Lakeside Museum, about an hours drive from Tokyo.
