Recently, the country star pledged a $1 million donation to help Hurricane Helene victims.

The 78-year-old musician and entrepreneur said the money would come from my own bank account.

This is not the first time Dolly has donated to a good cause with the help of her ventures.

In 2022, Parton announced that Dollywood would offerfree tuition assistance to all employees.

Speaking at apress conference, Parton said, Im happy to be here.

And Im sure a lot of you are wondering where Ive been.

The star then lamented the reason for the gathering.

So far, Hurricane Helene has left a toll of230 deadand damages of up to $30 billion.
