This chromatic insect played dead long enough for Farmer to capture some incredible images of its shells reflective qualities.

Thankfully, Farmer carefully put the anacamptic bug back onto a leaf and it quickly flew away.
Farmer says that although hes not much of an insect person, he was still amazed by it.

Michael Farmer accidentally stumbled upon a reflective beetle known asChrysina limbatawhile taking a stroll.
He was able to capture these images before safely returning the insect to its spot on a guava tree.
