In doing so, he gives us a wide-ranging perspective on the oft-photographed bay.
As in hisfirst expedition, Dros set out withIceland Photo Tours.
On this second trip to Greenland, Dros had the pleasure of experiencing the midnight sun.

This period when the Sun never sets below the horizon makes for a sky that dazzles with brilliant color.
Interestingly, this time around, Dros experienced weather that was much more variable than during his first visit.
Calm moments were few and far between, with fog, rain, and wind settling in.

Fortunately, the landscape is so beautiful that this weather didn’t put a damper on Dros' photography.
If anything, it gave him a chance to show off the environment in a new, unexpected manner.
Photographer Albert Dros recently spent a month in Greenland, exploring Disko Bay.

He also got to experience the midnight sun, where the sun never sets below the horizon.
Looking beyond icebergs, Dros also spent time photographing the quaint villages on the bay.
He also explored the form and texture of the area’s incredible icebergs.
