Solar eclipses are epic, sometimes once-in-a-lifetime astronomical events.

Unlike total solar eclipses, the Moon doesn’t fully cover the Sun in annular ones.
Its tinier scale compared to the Sun creates a ring of fire effect.
The eclipse will be visible in a good portion of the Americas.

In the U.S., it will travel from the Oregon coast to the Gulf of Mexico.
